The Volatile Substance Use (VSU) Incident Reporting and Response system is currently in place in the South West region. The VSU Incident Reporting and Response protocols are an interagency agreement for responding to VSU incidents in a town or region. Using the VSU Incident Reporting and Response protocols, a range of actions can be implemented to respond to incidents of VSU as they arise. The Central Coordinating Agency (CCA) for the South West region is the South West Community Alcohol and Drug Service (SWCADS).
